Mum’s Delicious Pancakes
This is a very easy recipe to make you popular at breakfast.
These are light and tender.
Delicious when served with syrup and lots of butter.
This is a great way to start off the day with a good breakfast.
They only take a few minutes and are easy to make.
Mum’s Delicious Pancakes
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2-3 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Mix all of the dry ingredients together.
- Add milk, vanilla, egg and oil
- Mix well and try to get some of the lumps out of the batter.
- Don’t worry about making it perfectly smooth, don’t over beat.
- Heat a skillet on medium heat, adding a little oil in the bottom of pan.
- Scoop the batter into the frying pan with a large spoon to make several individual pancakes. The pan will probably only take 1 or 2 pancakes at a time.
- Cook on one side until the top begins to bubble, then turn to the other side.
- Serve with butter and your favorite pancake syrup.
