My Crispy Omelette Pieces
published by bannana114 on Mar 6, 2009
A sweet dish made with easy to find ingredients.
My omelette pieces are a sweet dish not savoury. They use very few ingredients, are very simple to make and great as a starter. They have an extremely nice texture and colour so look appetising without any sides.
Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- 6 oz of sugar
- A table spoon of syrup
- Some butter
Method
- Warm a frying pan up at full heat
- Melt the butter in the pan
- Add the eggs and 4 oz of sugar
- Leave to cook for 2 minutes
- Flip the omelette and add the syrup
- After 30 seconds add 2 oz of sugar and chop up the omelette
- Leave to cook on low heat for about 4 minutes
- Take out of the pan and serve hot
Other options
Instead of sugar and syrup you can replace with:
- Chilli and nutmeg
- Dill and Chinese 5 spices mix
- Chicken pieces and all spice
- Garam massala and mixed herbs
