Power Oatmeal Recipe

This oatmeal recipe will get you going in the mornings! It’s pack with complex carbs, antioxidants, and protein. Easy to make and very tasty!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup wild oats (or any other oats as long as they aren’t quick cooking)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1/8 cup goji berries
  • 1 tbsp honey

Method

  1. Pour water into pan and bring to a boil on high heat.
  2. Mix milk, eggs, and vanilla in a bowl, then add to the boiling water.
  3. Stir for a few seconds to cook the egg mixture slightly and then add in the oats and cinnamon.
  4. Drop heat down to medium and add blueberries, goji berries, and honey.
  5. Stir constantly until oats are cooked.
  6. Serve and douse with milk (your choice, but it can be a bit dry otherwise).
  7. Enjoy!
