Almond Biscuits

Recipe of Almond biscuits for 4.

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 jar (s) big (s) flour
  • 1/2 kg almonds (s), peeled
  • 2 teaspoon (s) baking powder
  • 1/2 cup (s) sugar
  • 1/4 cup (s) molasses
  • 2 tablespoon (s) water
  • 1 cup (s) margarine
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 teaspoon (s) extract (s) of almonds
  • 1 egg yolk (s) egg


Method

  1. Beat the margarine and sugar until creamy.
  2. Add egg, almond extract and continue beating for several minutes.
  3. Incorporate the flour, baking powder and salt in order to form a soft dough.
  4. Formed with the fingers and Flatten balls to leave about 3 cm in diameter.
  5. Decorate each cookie with an almond.
  6. Put the tin in the oven, leaving a gap between the biscuits to prevent sticking together.
  7. Whisk the yolk with water and brush each cookie before you bake.
  8. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
