Banana Nut Bread

My Banana Nut Bread.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Crisco
  • 1 1/4 cups Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 cups Self Rising Flour
  • 1 cup Chopped Nuts, (Pecans or Walnuts)
  • 3 small Ripe Bananas
  • 1 Tsp. Vanilla Extract

Method

Preheat oven to 350. Cream Crisco, Sugar, Eggs and Flour together. The mixture will be stiff. Mash all 3 Bananas thoroughly and fold into mixture. Add nuts, Last add Vanilla Extract, mix well. Pour batter into lightly greased and floured loaf pans. Bake for 1 hour.

This recipe will make 2 loaves. It tastes great for breakfast, warmed with cream chesse spread on it.
