Banana Oat Squares

This looks surprisingly delicious for what healthy ingredients are in it.

Banana Oat Squares Recipe

Ingredients:

-6 Tbs butter

-1/2 cup brown sugar

-1 egg

-1/4 tsp salt

-3/4 cup mashed bananas

-2 cups quick-cooking rolled oats

-1/3 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and beat well. Add salt and mashed banana. Add oats and nuts. Stir. Spread in greased 8X8 inch pan. Bake in 350 F oven for almost an hour until firm. Cool and cut into squares. 

Yields: 25 servings

    YUMMY!!!! Two of my favorite ingredients in a recipe. The picture made me hungry. I have to go out today, might stop at store to pick up ingredients.

    It looks like there are chocolate chips?? but its not in the recipe?
