Cabbage Kheer

This cabbage kheer is a sweet Indian dessert, which is healthy and nutritious and very simple to make.

Ingredients

Milk – 1 litre

Ghee or butter – 1 tsp

Grated cabbage – 1 cup

Cashew nuts – 8

Vanilla essence – as desired

Colour as desired

Sugar- ¾ cup

 

Method

Add 2 cup of water in milk and keep for boiling.

Heat ghee and fry grated cabbage till raw smell disappears.

Then add little water to it and cook till soft.

Grind it to a smooth paste along with cashew nuts. Add it to boiling milk and cook on low flame for few minutes. Add sugar to it and mix well. Remove from fire and add colour and essence. Serve ice cold.
