Chocolate Cake with Peanut Butter Frosting

Egg free chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting.

Ingredients

2 2/3 c flour
2 tsp baking soda
2/3 c cocoa powder
2 c sugar
1 tsp salt
2 c water
2 tsp vanilla
2 tsp white vinegar
2/3 c vegetable oil

Method

Sift all dry ingredients together.  Then add liquids and mix well.  Pour into a 13 x 9 cake pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 min.

Peanut butter frosting:

1/2 c creamy peanut butter
1/2 c softened butter
2 c confectioners sugar
5 tsp milk
1 tsp vanilla

Mix peanut butter and butter until light and fluffy.  Gradually beat in sugar alternately with milk until a good spreading consistency.  Beat in vanilla.

For best results wait until cake has cooled completely before frosting.
