The Christians will not agree with this sentence that Christmas is about chocolate.

They will tell you that Christmas is about celebrating the birth of our Savior.

They will tell you that Xmas is about giving freely, so that you can gain happiness in life.

However, for the rest of the world, and that means the majority of the population in the world, Christmas is about chocolate.

Let us give a few examples.

When you want to give gifts for Xmas party in your company, what do you buy?

You cannot miss out boxes and boxes of chocolate that is wrapped up nicely.  Christmas chocolate is a neutral gift.

That means you can give to the young, the old, the guy or the lady.

Even if a person tells you that she is on a weight loss diet, you can buy bitter dark chocolate.

This particular holiday is a winner for the manufacturers of chocolate, but bad for our budget.

Most of us have to watch our budget carefully.

We may overspend on shopping, and left little money for all the bills.

Now let us talk about chocolate in cooking.

You cannot miss the nicely decorated Christmas log cakes in the display of major hotels or bakeries.  The log cakes are nice to look at, and nice to eat.

Nearly all the log cakes have rich chocolate content too.  

It is hard to imagine making a nice log cake without using chocolate as an important ingredient.

While the idea of baking a green tea log cake sounds nice, the reality is that Christmas is about chocolate.  

Consumers expect to buy the stores to sell many types of chocolates, and to see chocolate log cakes.

In a world which is addicted to this particular comfort food, we cannot miss it, even if we are not in the habit of shopping for gifts during this festive season.

If you love to eat chocolate, the best time to buy is after New Year.

Since you are not buying as a gift for yourself, you do not need nice wrapping box.  You just want to buy it as cheaply as possible.

Xmas is coming.  Let us enjoy ourselves and think of the ones who are less fortunate than us.
