Cinnamon Apple Bundt Cake

A holiday breakfast treat.

Ingredients

  • 1  package cinnamon bundt cake (such as Pillsbury)
  • 1  can apple pie filling (such as Thank You brand)
  • 1  package Streusel mix (any brand)
  • 1 container of white icing (Pillsbury)

Preparation

  1. Prepare cake according to package instructions.
  2. Grease and flour bundt pan.
  3. Warm oven at 350 degrees.
  4. Layer cake mix, cinnamon and apples, beginning and ending with cake mix.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Insert a tooth pick in the center, it should come out dry.
  7. Cool to the point that the cake is warm to the touch preparing icing.
  8. Place icing into a small bowl and add 1 tablespoon of water to thin.
  9. Drizzle the icing over the cake.
  10. Sprinkle the streusel mix over the icing while the icing is still wet, and press gently so that the streusel will adhere to the cake.

This recipe may also be used to make muffins.
