Different Ways to Prepare Artichoke Dip
A few different ways to cook and add a flare to artichoke dip.
Artichoke dips complement chips and crackers and are served as appetizers or finger food in gatherings, cocktail parties and in restaurants. There are many ways to serve artichoke dip.
1. Spinach and Artichoke Dip
Instead of serving the artichoke dip bare, add some spinach to make it even more interesting. You will need chopped artichokes, cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, artichoke heart and spinach. Mix the ingredients and put heat it in the microwave 2-5 minutes before serving.
2. Garlic Artichoke Dip
For a twist add garlic cloves to your usual artichoke dip recipe. Garlic adds an aroma and a distinct taste that stimulates the taste buds. With this recipe, you will need marinated artichokes, cream cheese, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese and garlic. Before mixing the ingredients, preheat the oven at 350 F. Mix the cheeses and mayonnaise, then add the artichoke and garlic. Once these are all mixed together, place them in a pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or observe until the surface becomes golden brown and bubbly.
3. Cheesy baked artichoke dip
Another twist to make artichoke dip interesting is to put lots of cheese on top before baking. You will need chopped artichokes, Parmesan cheese, Italian cheese, salt, black pepper, mayonnaise, sour cream, onion, and garlic powder. Mix the ingredients in your blender except the chopped artichokes. Stir in the blended ingredients into the chopped artichokes. Place them into a baking dish and bake it in a preheated oven for 25 minutes. Bake it longer if mixture has been chilled. Then sprinkle the baked dip with paprika and then add Parmesan and Italian cheese on top. Broil it until the cheese melts, usually only about 2 minutes in a preheated broiler.
