Easy Delicious Creme Caramel Cake Recipe!

You don’t need much, only eggs, cold and hot water, sugar, and evaporated milk!

Ingredients

  • 3 Eggs
  • 3 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups lukewarm water
  • 2 1/2 cups evaporated milk
  • About 4 cups hot water

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to about 180 degrees C.
  2. Place about 3 cups of sugar in a small or medium pan till it all melts, and leave it to dry and solidify. It should be a dark reddish color.
  3. Mix 2 1/2 cups evaporated powder, 1/2 cups sugar, 2 cups lukewarm water, and 3 eggs in a blender on high speed for about 2 minutes.
  4. Pour the mix over the molten sugar and place the whole pan in a boiling water bath.
  5. Place both pans in the oven and set the timer for 30 – 40 minutes.
  6. It should be done when it starts to brown from the top and bounces up when it is lightly pressed.
  7. Take it out of the oven and remove it from the hot water bath. Replace the hot water with cold water and put the cake pan inside it again.
  8. Leave it to cool and cut around the edges of the cake.
  9. Put a dish up-side-down on top of the cake pan, and quickly flip it right-side-up revealing your finished cake.
  10. Now you could make your own pound cake and place this on top of it, but that’s up to you.
  11. Enjoy your delicious caramel cake with your friends and family!
