How to Make a Sponge Cake
How to make a delicious sponge cake.
Ingredients
- 100g butter
- 100g caster sugar
- 100g self raising flour
- 2 eggs
Method
- preheat oven to 180 degrees fan
- mix sugar and butter together until light and creamy
- then whisk the eggs in a seperate bowl when they are whisked add them to the mixtur
- then fold in the remains of the flour
- line 2 cake tins about 6 inchs in diameter with baking paper and pour the mixture in evenly leave it to cook for about 20-25 minutes and un til it is light golden brown.
