How to Make an Egg Free Cake?

There are number of vegetarian eaters and persons who are allergic to eggs are available in the world.They also eat cake with same great taste.

There are many people in the world who are strictly vegetarians or they may be allergic to eggs,so it must be known for a cake cooking person to be familiar with making an egg-free cake

Eggs are usually used in the cakes to provide softness and also to bind the ingerdients together

In order to make the egg free cake a normal cake, one must concentrate on the flour-cake ratio. Use recipes that have a 1 egg to each 11/2 cups flour for best results. If the recipe calls for 7 eggs and two cups of flour it will not turn out!

There are several products in the market to replace the egg called “egg beaters” but thats not the right choice for the replacement for the eggs because it cut out only the cholestrol but not the non veg content because it is prepared from egg only.Its not a perfect thing for vegetarians and for those who are allergic to eggs.Always use egg replacers which is sold as powders in the market an d1/2 tablespoon for each egg and also add 2 tablespoons of water.

Various substitutions for an egg in a cake

Method 1(replacement for one egg)

2 Tablespoons of milk (or soymilk for vegans),

1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon of baking soda.

Also don’t forget to replace the butter with the same weight of sunflower oil.

Method 2

2 Tablespoons of yogurt (regular or soy)

1/4 teaspoon baking powder.

Also don’t forget to replace the butter with the same weight of sunflower oil.

Replace the egg with 1 teaspoon of cornstarch and 2 tablespoon of water in case of fruit cake

It is not possible for anyone to make an egg free cake perfectly in his/her first time.Now adaption is the best wayto solve the problem.If the cake doesnot came in the way you thought then transform it into something else If the cake is too crumbly, transform it into truffles. If the cake collapses you can soak it in fruit juice and use it in a trifle. If the borders of the cake are damaged, cut them off and then cover the remaining in a rich fudge frosting. Otherwise cut the cake into chunks and cover it with pudding or whipped cream! This is the way to transform even mistakes to proudre facts………….
