I have two of them -nieces- they are twins. They made a cake for Easter and it was super-duper! Divine!

They are excited about my recent writing move on Triond and are right here with me eager to share their recipe with you and if you have children (above eight according to them and  oven to be used only under adult supervision, they caution!). They are getting restless to tell you about their recipe so here goes…

Ingredients:

White Flour 2 cups

Sugar 2 cups

Eggs 3

Butter 200 grams

Cocoa 50 grams

Milk 1/2 cup

Hershey’s Chocolate Sauce 3 tablespoons

Fresh cream 2 tablespoons

Baking powder 1 teaspoon

Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon

Directions:

Sieve the flour and mix with cocoa. Keep aside. Beat together butter and sugar till light and  fluffy. Add in flour and cocoa mixture to the beaten butter and sugar, a little at a time. Mix continuously and add eggs one at a time alternatively with the flour and cocoa. Finally, put in all the other ingredients and mix well. Pour batter in prepared cake tin and bake on 200 degrees for 45 minutes or till cake rises and a toothpick pierced into it’s centre comes out clean. Remember to preheat the oven before baking.

Now for the Icing on the cake: Mix together icing sugar, cocoa and butter till it becomes creamy and put on cake with a spatula. Cake ready to eat! Absolutely yummy!! We are having some right now,yum!
