Merry Cherry Nut Cake Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 pkg. Duncan Hines Deluxe cherry cake mix
- 1 (4 serving size) pkg. Vanilla instant pudding and pie filling mix
- 1 ¼ cup buttermilk
- 4 eggs
- ½ cup Crisco oil
- 1 cup flaked coconut
- 1 cup finely chopped pecans
Method
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease and flour 10-inch tubular pan.
- Put dry cake mix, instant pudding mix, buttermilk, eggs, and oil into large mixer bowl.
- Prepare cake as directed on package.
- Mix in coconut and pecans.
- Turn batter into pan and spread evenly.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes.
- Cool for 1 hour in pan on rack.
- Remove cake from pan and let stand overnight before serving.
- Sprinkle the top of this cake with confectioner’s sugar.
