Check out how naughty these nutty brownies are when cooked in a turbo broiler.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ cup cooking oil
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 6 tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 cup slightly crushed nuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Method:

  1. Sift flour, baking powder, cocoa, and salt
  2. Beat the eggs well. Blend cooking oil and sugar. Then add the eggs. Beat the mixture for one (1) minute.
  3. Mix the evaporated milk and the vanilla
  4. Blend the mixtures #3 and #1 with mixture #2
  5. Pour mixture on a baking pan. Cook in a turbo broiler for 25 minutes at a temperature of 150.
  6. When cooked, spread the frosting evenly on top of cake. Sprinkle the nuts.

Frosting Ingredients:

  • 1 stick(1/2 cup) butter or margarine
  • 2/3 cup Hershey’s Cocoa or Ricoa
  • 1 ½ cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup condensed milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Method:

  1. Melt butter. Stir in cocoa.
  2. Alternately add sugar and milk, beating on medium speed to spreading consistency. Add more milk, if needed. Stir in vanilla. About two cups frosting.
