New York Style Cheesecake

Learn how to make a New York Style Cheesecake that everyone will enjoy!

Ingredients:

Crust:

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 3  tbsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp butter or margarine(melted)

Filling:

  • 4 packages(8oz each) cream cheese(softened)
  • 1cup sugar
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla pure extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 eggs

Directions:

Crust:

  1. Mix crumbs, sugar, and butter.
  2. Press onto the bottom of a 9 inch spring form pan.
  3. Bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes

Filling:

  1. Mix cream cheese, sugar, flour, and vanilla extract.
  2. Stir sour cream into the mixture.
  3. Beat 1 egg into the mixture. Repeat for remaining eggs. (All eggs are to be added separately)  
  4. Pour mixture over crust.

Bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for approximately 1 hour 5 minutes. After the cheesecake is removed from the oven let it cool on stove-top/counter.  Once the cheesecake has cooled refrigerate at least 4  hours or overnight. Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!
