OMG, this cake is indeed the most easiest one. We are vegetarians and I have tried eggless cake with condensed milk, coca cola, orange juice but never satisfied with the outcome. I tried this ofcourse bit skeptical . It came out perfect. It was bit moist but my 5 year old loved it. Thank you so much for the recipe. I sharing this website with all my friends and family.

Hi Rookie,
This was my first ever attempt at baking and your
receipe was soo simple that i had to try it. It
turned out delicious! Am gonna deff going to
recomend this receipe to any1 who is looking out for
eggless microwave ones. I tried on 1000watt for 6 min
and the cake had just the right softness.

@Serene,

Here’s a formula to conver watts to degree temperature.
ΔQ = mcΔT
where Q is the energy in JOULES (you’ll have to convert your watts to joules first!)
m is the mass
c is the specific heat of whatever substance you’re heating up
T is the temperature change in degrees Celsius/Kelvin (same magnitude)
(I googled and found the conversion formula.Simple!!)

Hope this helps! Do the math and im sure with a trial or two, you’ll get the hang of making this specific cake in your micro.

Can you please tell me what I could do to get the correct time-temperature balance, if I have a microwave oven that mentions just the watt, and I can set the minutes/seconds? For example, I can set the mode to micro (as opposed to grill), set the wattage at 750 (the highest in this machine), and select the number of minutes/seconds I want the food to get cooked for.

So what could be the correct settings for my machine?

The temperature setting IS important. Both the time and temperature need to be checked and exact.

Hey Thank you for the recipe… I have a que abt the temp you mentioned.. you said 540 degrees but.. is that important or should I just put the cake to 7-8 min and it would work?
