Pineapple & Cherry Cake Made Easy

Everybody loves cake!
Pineapple/Cherry “Dump Cake”
Your friends and family will be begging for more.
Don’t wait, make one today!
You will score big points in the dessert department!

Ingredients

  • 1 can crushed pineapple in heavy syrup {20 oz.}
  • 1 can cherry pie filling {21 oz.}
  • 1 package yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup chopped nuts {I like pecans best!}
  • 1 stick butter or margarine {chilled}

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Grease 9″x13″ baking pan.
  3. Spreadpineapple with syrup in pan evenly. Spoon cherry pie filling evenly over pineapple.
  4. Sprinkle DRY cake mix evenly over the fruit. Sprinkle chopped nuts over all.
  5. Slicebutter or margarine into THIN slices, put pieces all over top evenly.
  6. Bake approx. 50 minutes or until golden.
  7. Serve warm with ice cream or whip cream, it’s delicious by itself as well!
  8. Can be made with other combinations, but this is my all time favorite.
