On hearing the word ‘celebration’, party or treat, which 1st thing comes to your mind….yes certainly CAKE. Everyone young & old, have a taste for cake. Buying a cake for every reason is not economical, so I have a way out of this tricky situation. If you have time & motivation to learn new things, here are something very useful recipes for you. Let’s see how you can bake a chocolate cake.
1) CHOCOLATE CAKE:-To make a rich dark chocolate cake.
Ingredients: 1 cup of all purpose flour(maida) ; 2tbsp cocoa powder, 1 tsp baking pwd,1/2 tsp soda-bi-carbonate,1/2 can condense milk,1/2cup melted butter.1tsp vanilla essence.
Method: Sieve the flour, cocoa powder, and soda-bi-carb & baking powder& take it in a mixing bowl. Add condensed milk, melted butter& vanilla essence. Add ½ cup of water & mix using a whisk. Take a baking dish, grease it and pour the batter in it. Pre heated the oven. Then bake the cake at around 180degreeC for 20mins.Check the cake using a knife. If the knife comes out clean, and cake leaves the sides of the baking dish, then the cake is done. Remove it from the oven. Cool it and take it on a wired rack. Do the icing if you want. Your chocolate cake is ready.
