Triple Layer Chocolate Cake

Ingredients
1 c. Butter Flavor Crisco
1/2 c. cocoa
2 c. sugar
2. c. all-purpose flour
1. c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
3 eggs
Method
Cream Crisco and sugar together in a large mixing bowl. Add eggs, one at a time. Sift together flour, cocoa, and salt 3 times. Dissolve baking soda in milk. Add vanilla, then mix alternately with sugar, Crisco and eggs mixture. Pour into 3 greased and floured cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
Filling
Ingredients
1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1/2 stick margarine
Method
Cook all ingredients together over medium heat until thickened. Let cool completely, then spread between cake layers.
Frosting
Ingredients
2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 stick margarine, softened
4 Tbsp. milk
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp vanilla flavoring
Method
Cream all the ingredients together. Frost top and sides of the cake.

It looks delicious. I think I will make it for my grandsons graduation dinner. Chocolate is his favorite.
