Yum Cake

It’s a dessert recipe based on some things I put together from the pantry. You’ll have a fun time eating this one.

Serves 2

Ingredients

  • 2 slices cake, about ½” thick
  • ¼ cup fresh or frozen fruit
  • whipped cream
  • mint sprig, as garnish
  • powdered sugar, as garnish

Method

  1. On two chilled dessert plates, place a slice of cake on each plate.
  2. Top with fruit, preferably in season.
  3. Top with whipped cream.
  4. Garnish with mint sprig on the side.
  5. Garnish with powdered sugar to dust over cake.
