Chocolate Fudge

Simple to make, mouth watering fudge.

this is a recipe we have that everyone loves, whip up a batch for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1 pound confectioners sugar
  • 6 tablespoons butter(plus more to grease a pan)
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts(walnuts, pecans, almonds) which is optional

Method

combine all ingredients except nuts in a double boiler. Cook, stirring often, over barley simmering water until the butter is melted and the mixture is smooth. Add the nuts, if you’re using them. Pour into a small buttered pan and allow to cool before cutting into squares. Enjoy!
