Chocolate Fudge

published by skylite on Feb 19, 2009

I love the taste of fudge, but for some reason was unable to make any. I tried all the never fail recipe’s out there, and yet every one failed on me, until I tried this recipe. This is one that will work for anyone hoping to have fudge.

 Ingredients

  •  2 cups brown sugar
  •  1/2 cup carnation milk
  •  1 tsp butter ( heaping)
  •  2 tbsp. cocoa
  •  capful of vanilla ( will work without the vanilla, if you don’t have any )

Method

  1.  Pour your sugar in a medium sized pot and stir in your milk so that it is a bit runny. Next add butter. Heat on medium heat til a full boil. Boil for 4 – 4 1/2 minutes. Take off heat and add 2 tbsp of cocoa and vanilla if you have it. Beat for one minute with an electric mixer.
  2.  Pour onto a greased, regular size plate and pour your fudge onto the plate. Will start to harden in minutes.

This fudge is really sugary tasting but works every time. Enjoy !
