Chocolate Swiss Roll

This recipe is for making chocolate swiss roll in the cheapest way.

Ingredients

(for cake)

  • ¾ cup flour
  • 2 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • ½ cup caster sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 table spoon butter
  • ¾ teaspoon baking soda

Ingredients for filling:

  • 2 tablespoon Margarine
  • 8 tablespoon icing Sugar
  • 2 tablespoon cocoa powder

Method

  1. Sift flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, baking soda, pinch of salt
  2. In hot milk, add butter.
  3. Separate egg yolks from the liquid
  4. Beat eggs liquid till it thickens
  5. Beat eggs yolk, add caster sugar, flour, vanilla essence while mixing
  6. Then add beaten eggs-liquid(mix with hand)
  7. To step-7, add milk mixture.
  8. Bake for 8 min on combi-3
  9. Remove cake fro, pan when hot & put on wet muslin cloth & roll it.
  10. Beat 2 table spoon butter, icing sugar & cocoa powder
  11. Open roll after cooling. Add chocolate filling & roll it again.
  12. Keep as it is for about 2 hrs.
  13. Finally, cut it in ring and enjoy eating!!!

    Hi, hm what does combi-3 mean ?
    is it 350 F or what?
    i really would like to try this recipe (:
