Chocolate, Caramel and Pecan Cookies
These taste similar to the cookies that you can buy at Tim Horton’s. They have a nice taste but be careful because they burn easily.
Ingredients
- 1 cup margarine or butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar ( packed)
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla ( optional)
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 /4 tsp salt ( optional)
- 1 bag of chocolate chips
- 25 caramels
- 3/4 cup pecans
Method
Cream together margarine, sugars and egg and vanilla if you are using, on medium speed with your electric mixer til it comes to a light cream mixture. Combine flour, soda and salt and creamed mixture. Beat on low speed til well blended. Mix in chocolate chips, caramels and pecans.
Drop by spoonful onto cookie sheet. Place in oven on 375 for 9 -12 minutes or until they are a golden brown. Watch closely as they like to burn !
