Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

published by popasadidiot on Sep 22, 2011

This is a delicious recipe, used in the toll house kitchens by Nestle!

This recipe is originally my grandmothers. She owned her own bakery, and now you can have that same delicious bakery taste right in your own home. Unfortunately, after my grandmother’s passing there was nobody to carry on her legacy of making the most famous bakery in all of Ohio, so we had to sell the place and it became a dry cleaners.

It breaks my heart to think nobody outside of my family can never have one of my grandmother’s world famous triple-chocolate chip BONANZA cookies ever again. Which is why I am publishing her sacred recipe online.

These delicious cookies have less fat, and no preservatives like the store bought ones, and that bakery fresh taste and smell, satisfaction guaranteed.

2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

2 1/2 cups flour

1 cup brown sugar, white sugar

2/3 cups butter

1/2 tbsp salt

1/2 tbsp baking soda

1 tbsp water

1 egg, 1 egg yolk

Preheat oven to 350 C.

Mix dry ingredients, with out the sugars.

Sift sugars, mix with egg whites, add egg yolk.

Add butter to eggs.

Mix all ingredients minus the chocolate chips.

Once reached consistency of dough fold in chips.

Spoon on to baking sheet, 3 inches apart. Bake 15-17 minutes or until golden brown.

Enjoy!
