Chocolate Chip Cupcakes

A recipe for chocolate chip cupcakes.

Want a delicious desert, then chocolate chip cupcakes are just the right one for you. These chocolate chip cupcakes are delicious and you can freeze some for later too.

Ingredients

  • 5 oz (150g) Butter-softened
  • 5 oz (150g) Superfine (Castor) sugar
  • 6 oz (175g) self-raising flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tps vanilla extract
  • 2oz (50g) chocolate chips

Method

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 350of (180oc)
  2. Line a 12 cup cake pan, with cup cake papers.
  3. Crack the eggs in a cup and start beating them lightly with a fork.
  4. Put all the ingredients in a large bowl.
  5. Beat with an electric mixture for 2 minutes, until it runs light and creamy.
  6. Divide the mixture between the cake cases.
  7. Add the chocolate chips and mix through.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes until risen and firm to touch.
  9. Allow the cupcakes to cool for a few minutes and then transfer to a wire rack.
  10. Allow it to cool fully before icing.
