Chocolate Chip Pancake Recipe

Chocolate chip pancakes are best made from scratch and taste best with whip cream and maple syrup.

Children love chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast. However, what if you do not know how to make them?   Well, you soon will. I will show you how to make a homemade chocolate chip pancake batter that is super easy to make those chocolate chip pancakes.

All you need to make the chocolate chip pancake batter are 1 ½ cups of flour, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 ½ cups of milk, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1 large egg, 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil and ½ cup of mini chocolate chips.

Then what you do is pour all these ingredients into a large mixing bowl and whisk them together until you get a slightly lumpy thin pancake batter. However, you do not want the pancake batter too thick or too thin so add more flour if you find the batter is too thin, and add more milk if you find the batter to thick. Once the batter is made up it is on to those pancakes.

Take a flat griddle out and spray it with non-stick spray. Take a large ladle, scoop a scoop of the chocolate pancake batter out, and pour it onto the hot griddle. Allow the pancake to cook for 2 minutes on medium heat before flipping to the other side. Next, flip the pancake over and cook the other side. Both sides should be nicely golden brown. The center of the pancake should not be doughy either.

After serve the chocolate pancakes up warm with chocolate sauce, maple syrup, and whip cream, or whatever it is, your children like for toppings.

Oh so good!
