Chocolate Chips Christmas Cookies

I am delighted to share with you a recipe for Chocolate Chips cookies, let’s bake some for Christmas, imagine what’s going be like without cookies for Christmas?

I have started to bake cookies for Christmas today.  I plan to bake at least two types of cookies this Christmas.  The amount of each cookies that I am going to bake this few days up to Christmas is going to be quite a lot because we have put in plan to give out cookies and fruit cakes as part of the Christmas presents this year.

I adopted this Chocolate chips cookies from my cousin last year, I am glad that I managed to find the recipe that she copied down for me.  Here’s is the recipe, actually I have taken some photos of the cookies however, I was not able to upload it to my Triond posting lately, I don’t know why.

Ingredients:

  1. 370g butter
  2. 1 cup sugar
  3. 2 eggs
  4. 3.5 cups flour
  5. 2 tsp baking powder
  6. 1 cup chocolate chips

Methods:

  • line a baking tray with a sheet of aluminum foil;
  • preheat oven at 150C;
  • beat butter and sugar in a bowl till fluffy;
  • add in egg, one at a time, till all mis well;
  • add in flour (after mixed and sieved with baking powder), bit by bit till all incorporated.
  • add in chocolate chips.
  • bake at 160C for 25 minutes or till cookies is lightly brown.

    Hey, Agnes, have not heard from you, missed your cooking tips… Cookies for Christmas, great, but I may not have confidence and may not be ready for Christmas, maybe I should try and get ready for Chinese New Year, please wish me success, with your nice instruction here, thanks!

    Hi Starpisces, this cookies is great for Chinese New Year too..will post another cookie recipe once I have baked it, unfortunately the system does not allow me to upload any photo, *sigh*
