Double Delicious Cookie Bars – Recipe
A very easy recipe to quickly put together. Keeping the ingredients on hand allows you to be prepared for any situation.
This recipe is very quick and easy to prepare. I often use it for pitch-ins and always get rave reviews. Preparing it ahead of time and allowing it to rest makes it easier to cut and serve. This can also be a great recipe to give to family and friends at the holidays.
INGREDIENTS
1/2 c Margarine or butter
1 1/2 c Graham cracker crumbs
1 14oz can sweetened condensed milk
1 12oz package semisweet chocolate chips
1 c peanut butter chips
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350* (325* for glass dish).
2. 13 x 9 pan, melt margarine in oven.
3. Sprinkle crumbs evenly over the margarine.
4. Pour sweetened condensed milk over crumbs.
5. Top with chips; press down firmly.
6. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool and cut into bars.
7. Store loosely covered at room temperature.
Any variety of chip works well. Carmel and choc.
White and dark choc. Or those new swirl chips.
