Ingredients

• 1 cup of butter or margarine(2 sticks)
• 1 cup of brown sugar(firmly packed)
• 3 eggs well beated
• 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
• 3 cups of plain flour
• 1/2 teaspoon of soda
• 1/2 cup sherry wine
• 2 tablespoon sherry flavoring mix as in cookies
• 7 cups chopped pecans
• 1 tbs. chopped candies pineapple
• 1 tbs. chopped candies cherries
• 2 cups candies dates
• 3/4 cups dark raisins

Method

Mix all ingredients together well.  Form into balls, firmly press to make a 5″ cookie. Drop on well greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 300 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes.
