My Friend’s Freshly Baked Cornflakes Cookies

It’s good to be good, blessings will come knocking in front of your door.
While preparing for my simple dinner, a good friend of mine knocked our door with a small plate of her freshly baked cornflakes cookies. Out of greed, as I described myself, I accepted her cookies without letting her come in. Oh yes, I did, after I had a bite.
A simple and quick recipe, and I’m sure the ingredients are just around your kitchen. Perfect for entertaining kids during parties.
INGREDIENTS:
100g cornflakes
10g honey
10g butter
10g sugar
METHOD:
Melt butter, honey and sugar in a pan in a very low fire. Once melted, switch off the fire.
Pour the cornflakes over the mixture and mix well.
Spoon the cornflakes into small paper cups and baked at 160 degrees Celsius for 5 to 8 minutes.
Alternatively, you may top some crushed almonds before baking.
Another alternative, if you want chocolate flavored cornflakes cookies, melt 10g of cocoa powder together with the butter, sugar and honey.
I enjoyed its crispness in every bite. And if you wish to keep it for the next day, make sure to seal it in an air tight container.
