Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

My Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe is revised from an older recipe my family used to make. These chocolate loaded sweet treats are just made to make you drool. Try them out!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup vegetable shortening
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 3/4 cup brown sugar firmly packed
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips

Preheat to: 375°F

Method

Lightly grease baking sheets Using a mixer, beat butter and shortening until creamy. Gradually add sugar and brown sugar, beating until fluffy. Add vanilla and eggs, beating well.

In a separate bowl, combine salt, baking soda, and flour. Gradually add to butter mixture, beating until blended. Stir in chocolate and peanut butter chips. Place cookies onto greased sheets in 1/8 cupfuls about 2 inches apart. Bake for 8-11 minutes. Makes three dozen.
