Pumpkin Upside Down Pie

This is a quick easy dessert that travels well.

1 20oz can of pureed pumpkin

1 1/4 cup sugar

2 teaspoons cinnamon

1 teaspoon ginger

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

1 13oz can evaporated milk

3 eggs, beaten well

1 box yellow cake mix

1 1/2 cups chopped pecans or walnuts

1 cup melted butter

In a large bowl, mix everything except cake mix, nuts and butter.  Pour into a 9×13 baking dish.  Top with cake mix, then nuts, then drizzle with melted butter.  Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour.  Cool before serving.  Top with ice cream before serving.
