Rookie Cookie

published by Tarra Buluran on Mar 25, 2009

The birth of a new blend that comes right from the heart.

Source

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsps. baking powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup instant oatmeal
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 butter
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk

Method

  1. Sift the flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, raisins, and oatmeal altogether.
  2. Beat the egg. Set aside.
  3. Melt the butter over low heat.
  4. Pour the egg, butter, and evaporated milk over the sifted mixture. Blend well.  Using a rolling pin, form a dough.
  5. Scoop about a teaspoon of the dough. Press it at the center using your thumb to form a cookie shape. Do it over again to make more cookies.
  6. Cook it in an oven toaster until it appears slightly brown.
