Cooking Without Mom: Black & White Cookies
A healthy and tasty dish of cookies that are super easy to make!
Ingredients
- 165mL flour
- 40mL cocoa
- 1mL baking soda
- dash of salt
- 75mL brown sugar
- 60mL white sugar
- 75mL margarine, softened
- 1 egg
- 3mL vanilla
- 75mL chocolate chips
- 75mL white chocolate chips
Method
- Preheat oven to 325°F. Check that oven racks are in the middle.
- Stir together flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa. Set aside.
- In large mixing bowl, cream together margarine, brown sugar and white sugar.
- Mix in egg and vanilla until well blended
- Add flour mixture 1/2 at a time until blended.
- Mix in chocolate and white chocolate chips with wooden spoon.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet.
- Bake 8-10 minutes or until the centre feels slightly firm when touched
- Cool on a cooling rack.
