Here’s my favorite crepes recipe enjoy !

Personal touch : You can add vanilla or lemon juice on the pan, so the crepes will smell good and taste good without putting jam or sugar on it.

For about 25 crepes:

Ingredients

  • 400g of flour
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 tablespoonfuls of oil
  • 1 tablespoonful of rum
  • ½ litre of milk + 1 glass of water
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 sachet links vanilla sugar
  • 1 zest of lemon or orange

Utensils for the recipe:

  • 1 salad bowl
  • 1 big spoon
  • 1 measuring glass
  • 1 glass with water
  • 1 hand mixer (if need)
  • 1 frying pan with pancake
  • 1 ladle
  • 1 spatula (to turn crepes)

Method

1. Begin by putting the flour in a salad bowl. Dig “Puit” in the centre, break eggs and add a pinch of salt.

2. Work paste with a spoon. Once paste is very smooth add progressively the milk then water. Work paste with a spoon. Once paste is very smooth add progressively the milk then water. Blend forcefully, to avoid lumps. You can use a hand mixer.

3. Once verbose paste, add rum, oil and le zest of lemon or orange and put the dough in the refregirator for 1-2 hours.

Baking :

1. Prepare your frying pan by oiling it with a sopalin soaked in oil, in that way, crepes will not stick but will not be too fatty.

2. Once the frying pan is very hot, pour your paste into the frying pan with a ladle, made turn it to divide paste. Cooked the crepe about 2mn on each side. You can liven up your paste with a sachet of vanilla sugar if it is about sweet crepes.

Here’s a picture of a very nice designed plate. ( Strawberries, icing sugar (UK) / powdered sugar (US), but i’ve tasted some with mapple syrup … VERY GOOD ) Well I hope you enjoyed this recipe … Comment if you got any “better ideas” ^^.

    Yummy! I think it will taste so great if I put Vanilla on it. :P
