The enjoyment of eating does not only encompasses only the food. It includes appreciating the method of preparing the food. What is delicious to someone might also include the presentation. That is when the look and feel of such a dish.

In Hungary, Gesztenye Puree which is make from chestnuts is a very delicious cream dessert. There is always an argument about which is better, the Somloi Galuska or the Gesztenye Puree. Nevertheless, these two are the most popular desserts by the Hungarians.

The Asian desserts by the Thai people or Indonesians  does not do without Coconut milk or coconut shavings. The Chinese likes herbal additions or at least cooling ingredients as they break down food into categories or ‘Yin’ or ‘Yang’ foods. The cooling ones will be ‘Yin’ as it will reduce the heatiness in your body thereby, balance the energies and making you healthier.

It is strange but true how people choose to eat is also a kind of culture in itself. In Singapore, due to the hot climate, we love cold desserts than the hot desserts. Ice creams added to different ways of preparing a hot dessert is also a popular fusion style. This ‘east meets west’ draws a lot of recent attention due to the balancing one can get.
