Mouth-watering Filipino delicacy.
One of my favorite Filipino delicacies is the powdered milk candy known as “Polvoron”. Surprisingly, my good friend from Singapore also loves this delicacy. His kids like the taste as well. So in his every visit here in Philippines, he always buys Polvoron at SM as “pasalubong” to his kids.

Polvoron Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup powdered milk
1 ½ – 2 cups all purpose flour or cassava flour
8-10 tablespoon melted butter
¾ cup sugar (white)
- Toast the flour on a non-stick pan with a medium heat. Stir until light golden brown.
- Remove the flour from the pan and put to a bowl. Make sure bowl is dry.
- Add powdered milk and sugar, mix thoroughly.
- Melt the butter then add the mixture, mix well.
- Mold using Polvoron molder. Put on a tray and refrigerate for about 20-30 minutes to make it firm, not crumbly.
- Wrap each molded Polvoron on a colorful Japanese paper or tissue paper.
