Ingredients
peanut butter – 6 carbs per 2 Tablespoons
whipped Cream – 2 carbs per 2 Tablespoons
cocoa – 2 carbs per Tablespoon
sugar free jello – 0 carbs per Tablespoon
Low fat varieties tend to have more carbs than the regular varieties.
Keeping carbohydrates low can mean getting very little sweets. I have been able to stay on a low carb diet without feeling deprived, by using these four ingredients in different combinations. I mix the peanut butter and whipped cream together and eat by itself or add some cocoa for a chocolate fix. Mixing the cocoa with only the whipped cream is good also. It makes you think you are eating ice cream!
The sugar free jello is fabulous. There are so many flavors: strawberry, raspberry, lime, lemon, orange, etc. You can make the jello with water as is normal, however there is no need to wait for jello to set. Just sprinkle a little of the powder on the softened whipped cream and mix well for a fast low carb fruity treat!
