Edible Birds Nests

Easy to make Easter treats.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp. margarine
  • 1 c. miniature marshmallows
  • 3 Shredded Wheat Biscuits, crushed
  • Jelly Beans

Method

Place margarine in medium bowl and microwave on High for 30 to 45 seconds or until melted. Add marshmallows, stirring well to coat. Microwave on High for 30 to 60 seconds or until marshmallows puff up and mixture can be stirred smooth. Stir in the crushed cereal and shape into Easter birds nests. When completely cool, fill the baskets with jelly beans. (Makes 4 to 6 baskets)

    I love shredded wheat!! I wouldn’t have thought to make those into a treat like this but the texture and colour is perfect for a nest. Great idea, Darla.
