English Tea Cakes

Whip up some of these before you invite your friends over for tea and coffee; they will be a hit!

English Tea Cakes

Ingredients:

-5 cups of flour

-2 inches of 1 pound margarine

-1/2 cup sugar

-2 tsp salt

-1 package yeast

-2 eggs

-1 1/2 cups warm milk

Directions:

Mix as for buns. Let rise, till double in size. Roll pieces out thing to size of tea plates, prick with large fork several places and let rise again. Brush tops with warm milk and bake in 425 F oven.  Enjoy!
