Frozen Bananas

A recipe for a delicious banana treat.
Bananas covered in a creamy peanut butter and dipped in a milky chocolate, then frozen to serve. Is your mouth watering yet?
These are so delicious, that each time I eat them, I’m left licking my lips afterward, wishing I had more – and I’m a picky eater, especially when it comes to fruit.
This is probably the simplest recipe you’ll ever come across too, since it’s all the ingredients you’d find around home!
Serves 4
Ingredients
- 2 Bananas
- Peanut Butter
- 2 cups of chocolate chips or 2 bars of Hershey’s chocolate (milk or dark chocolate is preferred)
- Popsicle sticks
- Wax paper
Method
- Unpeel bananas and throw away peels
- Cut bananas in half to make four regularly wide but half the length bananas
- Stick popsicle sticks in bananas, (they should look like banana popsicles)and set them down on wax paper
- Put chocolate chips in a microwaveable safe bowl or crumble chocolate bars to pieces and put them in a microwaveable safe bowl and cook in the microwave until chocolate is creamy and runny
- Cut wax paper into four pieces, each one should be big enough that it can wrap around a banana
- Spread peanut butter onto banana halves and completely cover them with as much peanut butter as you’d like and set them down carefully onto the wax paper
- With a spoon, pour the creamy chocolate all over the banana halves on top of the peanut butter and cover them completely with chocolate
- If you want to add anything else, like sprinkles or something, go ahead
- Wrap bananas in wax paper (you can either cover the popsicle stick or not – preferably not)
- Freeze bananas in freezer for 1-2 hours
- Unwrap and serve. Yum!
Hope you enjoy them! You can make more servings than four, but make sure to accommodate with the ingredients.
