Quick & easy steps to prepare Indian Fruit Toffee (100% Veg.)…

Ingredients
- Fruit pulp (apple, papaya, banana, mango): 1kg
- Sugar: 900gms
- Glucose: 100gms
- Milk powder: 150gms
- Condensed milk: 400gms
- Butter or ghee or dalda: 200gms
- Fruit essence (if needed): ½ tsp
- Food color (if needed): ¼ tsp
Method
- Heat and concentrate any one or mixed fruit pulp.
- Add sugar, glucose and little butter or ghee or dalda in it. Cook well.
- Dissolve milk powder in a cup of water and prepare like a paste.
- When half cooked, add the condensed milk and the paste into the boiling mixture.
- Heat the mixture continuously till it leaves the sides of the vessel.
- Add the remaining butter or ghee or dalda just before it reaches the rolling point.
- Remove from fire. Add some fruit essence and color. Mix well.
- Pour uniformly upon a greased tray. Sprinkle chopped nuts. Allow to cool. Then cut it into pieces.
- Pack the toffee in butter papers.
