Fruitcake and insects

Ingredients:

1 cup flour crickets.

1 / 4 cup raisins.

1 / 4 cup diced dried fruit (peach, apple, dates, etc.).

1 / 4 cup water.

This recipe is a traditional Native American and does not include new discoveries (such as yeast).

It is, however, a highly nutritious delicacy, with plenty of protein, carbohydrates, sugars and 2 fat (less than most granola).

Preparation:
1. Mix the ingredients until you have a thick dough. Stretch it into strips the size of a finger and place in a lightly greased pan.

2. Bake at 175 º C for 20 minutes or until outside is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.

3. Cool and serve. Variations: Add 1 / 4 cup of oats and a little more water to a consistency more like granola.
Use different types of insect meal to vary the flavors.
