Apple Crisp

Yield: 10 servings
Per serving: 215 cal.; 9.8 g. fat; 33 g. carbs.

4 tart apples, peeled, cored & diced

1/2 tsp. vanilla

1 c. ground cinnamon

1 c. quick cooking oats

1/2 c. butter, softened

1.  Preheat oven to 375 deg. F.

2.  In mixing bowl, combine apples & vanilla.  Toss to combine.

3.  Layer diced apples in 9×13″ baking pan.

4.  Combine brown sugar, cinnamon & oats in bowl.  Use 2 knives or fork to mix in butter.

5.  Sprinkle sugar mixture over apples.

6.  Bake 45 min. or til topping looks crunchy & apples are tender.

7.  Variations:  Try other fruits, such as cherries, pears, peaches or plums.
