You have heard the statement, “an apple a day keeps the doctor away.” This is because apples are loaded with heart healthy benefits and is a fiber rich fruit.
They are rich in potassium, and high in fiber. Every now and then I buy the organic bananas, which are a tad bit smaller than the regular ones. Bananas can ripen right before your eyes. I think they ripen ever hour. I like them when they are not mushy, yet a little firm. As kids, we used to put bananas in corn flakes. And if your child has braces, this is the perfect fruit. Pears are said to support or help ease your digestive system. They are somewhat of a cleansing fruit. Pears soften when you leave them out for 4 to 7 days. There is nothing like a soft juicy pear. Yummy!
Strawberries are also a heart healthy fruit. Strawberries are a pretty fruit – the red color is appealing and exciting. You ever dip strawberries in warm chocolate. Delicious!
