Recipe for Beef and Potato Chops
200 grams cooked beef mince
5-6 large potatoes, boiled and mashed and flavoured with salt and a bit of butter.
Vegetable oil for frying
1 beaten egg
100 grams semolina
Take sufficient amount of mashed potato to form a ball of about 4 inches in diameter. Make a small well in the centre of the ball and fill it with some cooked mince.
Close the well to form a ball again. Slightly flatten the potato and mince filled ball. Then dip the potato chop in beaten egg and coat with semolina. Heat oil in a pan and fry the potato chop, one side at a time. Serve with tomato ketchup.
